Alex Flanagan
She is a graduate of her school, the University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, Arizona. She is employed by the NFL Network as an anchor/reporter as well as NBC Sports as a sideline reporter for the Notre Dame home football games as well as Football Night in America. Flanagan is heard and seen during Madden 10 and the Madden 10 or Madden 11 videos, in which she hosts a weekly recap of the game show along with Fran Charles. Alex hails from Sonoita, Arizona. Kevin Flanagan, a former basketball player at the University of Arizona is her husband. The couple has two daughters as well as a son. Alex's parents own the Arizona steak houses "The Steak Out", situated in Sonoita along with Dove Mountain. Flanagan was able to get a head start into her professional career as a news reporter, and anchor while in college as an intern student at KVOA-TV and began covering sporting events in the year 1998. The networks she worked for were diverse that include NBC Sports, NFL Network, ESPN, and Fox Sports. She was also a Gamma Phi Beta member. Flanagan began her career on television by working as a reporter for general assignments and weekend anchor with KCCO-TV Alexandria, Minnesota. She served in this capacity for a total of two years with WSFA-TV situated in Montgomery, Alabama.
