Bellamy Young
Young started her profession as an actor in the theater. Her Broadway debut in 1997 as Mary who was the very first actress in the musical The Life. The show was performed Off Broadway on stage in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We to Roll along (1994) and in Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). She first appeared on TV in 1995, with her role as"Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap production Another World. She was a part of Law & Order as a guest actor in two roles during 1997 and 1998. Her debut on film came in 1999. She had a minor role in Black and White. In the years following, she appeared in several independent movies. In the early 2000s she began guest-starring characters on several comedy and drama shows on television, which included The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. From 2000 through in 2011, Young had more than 30 guest appearances on tv shows. As of 2003, Young got a role as a regular in Peacemakers, a USA Network show Peacemakers. Peacemakers was pulled after only a single season of nine episodes. She was a recurring character on the Lifetime series For the People, a law-based drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, in the NBC period drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. In the same year, she was on NBC's Scrubs as Dr. Grace Miller in 2004 in the role of Assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), as well as on the ABC the primetime soap drama Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) in the role of Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family. Between 2011 and 2013 she played Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds.
