She's worked for many of the top outlets worldwide. It was a long time reporting on various sports on behalf of The Washington Post, including tennis, football, and basketball. Nichols was hired by ESPN in 2004 and stayed for nine years there, earning two Emmy Awards. She also appeared on the most popular shows on ESPN like SportsCenter or NFL Countdown. She also worked as an anchor for Monday Night Football on the network. Then, she switched into CNN Sports as well as Turner.
